Water maker repaired

The day started by again fueling up but this time the truck drove on a road behind the dock and we passed the nozzle by tying a line to it and pulling it across. No matter how we do it, the fuel is costing more than we anticipated by a lot. But then isn’t every one saying that?
The parts for the water maker arrived and Walt was able to fix it after one false start. So now we can again make fresh water from the salt water surrounding us at a rate of sixteen gallons an hour. Our neighbor on the dock, Gavin, helped Walt with fueling and the repair, then gave us a tour of Corner Brook and fed us a steak dinner after all this. Talk about hospitality! He and his wife, Val, live on their 41′ sailboat with their nine month old son in the summer months. They will lend us their car to pick up Skip, Pat and Shane tomorrow at the Deer Lake Airport.
The refrigerator compressor arrived and we have an 8:30 am appointment to get it installed. Then we will do the final provisioning before departing Wednesday.

Hi Walt and Kip,
What an adventure! I’ve seen over an over how God is providing for your needs. A good reminder for us to pray on your behalf! And we will continue doing so.
I love the pictures – keep them coming! I love to see some of the whales (a challenge for you, <:P )
I saw Pat this evening as I was leaving CT – he mentioned how he really liked the looks of those lobsters! (hint, hint).

Hi Kip and Walt,
I am so enjoying following this grand adventure of yours. I hope the boat is now fully ready to take on the Arctic waters. Interesting how you went forth knowing there would be a few things that needed attention and, as in life, God has brought those and a few more to your attention, knowing they were important for your safe and successful travel.
I wrote you an email at your aquatoad site Kip but you most likey aren’t able to get to that
right now. There will be plenty of time to talk and catch up in the Fall. In the meantime, know that we are lifting you up before God and rejoicing with you in this amazing opportunity and challenge that He has so wonderfully gifted to the both of you!
The scripture in Sunday’s church service at Grace was taken from Habakuk!!! Remember these two verses from our spring study?
Habakuk 2:14,
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
and verse 2:20,
“But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him.”
Wishing you many awesome moments of silence and wonder as you travel with God through the northwest passage.

Apparently one of my comments was lost in cyberspace. – – – Here ’tis.
Corner Brook struck chord. My father, Col. Carlos Fetterolf, was responsible for keeping the railway functioning between CB and St. John’s in early WW II. ~1985 I spoke with Lee Wulff at a fish camp south of Cancun, Mexico. He remembered Atlantic salmon fishing with my father. Lee became a very famous, guide, fisherman, inventer and author.
