July 25th, 2008 by Walt "The Skipper" JonesAll was well with the bears for the night and we are off at 6 AM after Pat fished for a half hour (skunked.) We have AMAZING pictures of the bears – some very close with Pat’s telephoto lens…

Wow! I agree this is the best reality show of the summer! And you really are gracious to allow us to come along for the journey, thanks to this website. So, how was the monkey bread? I bet yummy.
Besides getting to learn a lot more geography and nautical terms as we follow your progress, I thought I’d pass along to the readers a site that shows Nunavut province.

And I’ve learned what a “bight” is, but I’ve viewed various nautical dictionaries to try to figure out what a “tickle” is, beyond the obvious. Can anyone help?
Hope you can get the fuel line cut-off solenoid replaced, and I pray for God’s continuing amazing protection.
And then, last question for the moment (to everyone’s relief)…………….do you know which route you’re going to take as you head for the Northwest Passage? 🙂 MarcieB.

This map of Canada is incredible. You only need to click once to get the next enlargement of the area of interest, and you don’t have to purchase it in order to take a peek. Of course, it’s only a help to see the “big picture” of where these über adventurers are going, not a locator of the little nautical harbors they enter. Have fun. MarcieB.

Psalm 92:1-5
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
1 It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 to proclaim your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD;
I sing for joy at the works of your hands.
5 How great are your works, O LORD,
how profound your thoughts!
Hi all, How cool (lol) is that to see 5 polar bears in one day. I love riding along with you in spirit. Love, your sister in Christ, Pam
