Your questions for the crew
August 11th, 2008 by Randy JonesHi Geraldine fans. In a recent satellite phone conversation with my mom I broached the idea of recording a conversation with the crew and posting it on the website. It seemed like a good idea to allow your questions to guide the conversation. So… if you have burning questions you’d like to ask the crew, please leave them as a comment to this post, and we’ll see how many we can get to before the connection drops. No guarantees here, but hearing their voices would be nice! — Oh, and one question per customer please!

I have loved following your journey. I only have one question for Pat. Did you bring the “wipies” for Shane in case things get a little rough? The ones you gave him in Sierra Leone really took care of things. Stay safe. Bill

Thanks for the good idea about a recorded conversation, Randy! It would be wonderful to hear the crew’s voices. One question for any crew member ->->-> “What was the most surprising experience you’ve had that will change you in a positive way for the rest of your life?”
Oh, and I think I’ve figured out the Resolute you’re heading for that I’ve pinpointed on the map. Can’t wait to hear more about what it’s like to be in Magnetic North. And yes, I do hope you are chronicling your astounding experiences for future publication!
Praying as we go. MarcieB.

Ethan would like Kip to know that he wants her to come home safely from her adventure. He misses his Sunday School teacher.

Hey there … what’s the story on that lonely sailboat photo-ed a couple days ago? Friends of mine here picked up on a sailboat up there via the internet when they were trying to click onto your adventure, and I wonder if it’s the same one. A solo sailor, I was told. Meanwhile, I’m loving your adventure. You’ve got my interest!!!! WOW, what a story. Harriet

[…] Geraldine fans. I had a chance to record my conversation/interview with the crew today and ask them your questions. It ended up being about an hour long. They were using the phone and internet at the local hotel: […]
